Julian Samora Research Institute
The Julian Samora Research Institute is committed to the generation, transmission, and application of knowledge to serve the needs of Latino communities in the Midwest. To this end, it has organized a number of publication initiatives to facilitate the timely dissemination of current research and information relevant to Latinos.
Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved
The College of Human Medicine, in partnership with Synergy Medical Education Alliance, is pleased to offer a medical student clinical education program at the CHM Saginaw Campus, Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved (LMU). This program has a dedicated focus on the clinical and leadership skills and knowledge necessary to serve medically underserved populations in urban, rural, migrant, and international settings.
Native American Institute
The Native American Institute (NAI) was authorized by the Michigan State University Board of Trustees in October 1981. The Institute was established to aid North American Indian organizations, non-profit and tribal governments, plan and prepare to meet the present and future needs of their constituents. Over the years, NAI has expanded its role to include research and technical assistance in fundraising and grantsmanship in an effort to further promote Indian self-sufficiency and self-determination.
University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum
The University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum provides an opportunity for undergraduate researchers to present their work in the form of a poster or oral presentation, or to showcase their creations. Undergraduates from all MSU colleges who are engaged in original work are encouraged to participate.
