Academic Recruitment Resources Directory
This directory is intended to help higher education institutions identify resources that can be used to extend recruitment efforts to reach a diverse pool of applicants through advertising and networking.
The directory includes a database with compiled links to web sites for caucuses, committees, task forces, and special interest groups for people of varying backgrounds within professional organizations.It also identifies advertising opportunities and electronic job boards within these organizations.
The database can be searched by subject area, keyword, diversity characteristic, and geographic region to find the most relevant web sites to assist in the recruitment process. Search results will include the following information:
- Organization name
- Brief description of the recruitment resource
- URL for the organization’s web site (links will open in a new window)
Availability
The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access to the directory is based on an IP address. Anyone with an MSU IP address can access the Directory.
Others interested in gaining access should contact the program administrator at 517/353-3925 or woehlert@msu.edu. Anyone in a subscriber organization within the same range of IP addresses may use the subscription. There are no passwords to remember, and one subscription may be used by multiple employees.
