Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives

Education and Development

The Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives provides an array of learning opportunities to MSU faculty, staff and students. Our goal is a campus community that understands how to fully integrate the University’s core values of diversity and inclusion into campus work and learning environments. Through a variety of instructive venues, education is provided to participants on the university’s anti-discrimination policies, equal opportunity practices and diversity and inclusion. Workshops are designed to be interactive, allowing participants opportunities to practice newly learned skills, better preparing them for when they return to the workplace or classroom.

We offer workshops that are specific to the needs of MSU staff and faculty in partnership with the Office of Faculty and Organizational Development, Human Resources Development, departments, and colleges.

Classes at Human Resources Development (HRD)

Human Resources Development is changing its class enrollment procedures starting with the fall semester 2009 in a continuing effort to improve its service. HRD will no longer send out the confirmation/invoice form.

When you register online for an HRD class, on the Enrollment Confirmation screen you will find a link to the HRD Class Enrollment Form to finalize your class enrollment. (You may wish to print this screen and use the information to fill out the form.) The Class Enrollment Form needs to be printed, completed, signed and sent to HRD prior to your class. The form may be faxed to HRD’s fax at 517-432-2979, sent via campus mail or brought over to 10 Nisbet, East Lansing, MI.

We appreciate your support as HRD implements this process change.
