About the Office for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion

Founded in 1968, the Office for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion has been instrumental in ensuring that Michigan State University’s public land-grant identity and strategic priorities align with its core values, toward mission attainment.

The unit leads and coordinates a range of initiatives and programs that aim to build community across the institution through partnerships with university leadership, faculty, staff, students and alums, grounded in a foundation of dignity, respect, empathy and accountability.
